• 13-inch MacBook Pro (Retina) – All models from Late 2012 to Early 2015 (Originally shipped with a 60W charger).
• 11-inch & 13-inch MacBook Air – All models from Mid 2012 to 2017 (Originally shipped with a 45W charger).

Visual Verification

To confirm you have a MagSafe 2 connector:

• The connector tip is made of aluminum.
• The tip shape is a flat, slender rectangle (T-shaped).
• It is much thinner than the thicker, white plastic cylindrical shapes of the older MagSafe 1 connectors.
