Overview
A thin silicone cover that sits over your MacBook's keyboard and helps keep out dust, crumbs and small spills. Most versions print the Arabic letters next to the English ones on every key, so you can see both layouts while you type. It peels off in a second for cleaning.
Find the cover for your MacBook
Every MacBook keyboard is a different shape, so the cover has to match your model. Turn your Mac over and read the model number in the small print: an A followed by four digits. Then find it below.
- A1278, A1286, A1398, A1425, A1466, A1502 (MacBook Pro 13" and 15" 2008–2015, MacBook Air 13" 2012–2017): US layout, Arabic and English.
- A1534, A1708 (MacBook 12" 2015–2017, MacBook Pro 13" 2016–2017 without Touch Bar): US or UK layout.
- A1706, A1707, A1989, A1990, A2159 (MacBook Pro 13" and 15" with Touch Bar, 2016–2019): UK layout with Arabic and English; 15" US layout with Arabic and English; or US layout in English only.
- A2179, A2337 (MacBook Air 13" 2020, Intel and M1): US or UK layout, Arabic and English.

US or UK?
Look at the Return key. A US keyboard has a wide, flat Return key; a UK keyboard has a tall, L-shaped one. A cover made for one will not sit right on the other.
