Critical Distance Limitation Note

Because the Onten OTN-E02 is a passive coupler (it does not feature active signal amplification circuitry), it remains strictly bound to standard copper Ethernet length limitations. 

The 100-Meter Rule: Your total aggregated line cable length (Cable A + Cable B) cannot exceed 100 meters (328 feet). Exceeding this collective length threshold will result in severe packet loss, intermittent connection failures, or complete signal dropouts. 

What to do if you actually need a 1000M (1 Kilometer) Extension?

If your implementation truly requires bridging a physical link spanning up to 1,000 meters, a simple passive coupler will not function. Instead, look into these alternative enterprise solutions:
