Onten OTN-UHD3 3.5 Inches SATA HDD Enclosure – USB 3.0

Onten OTN-UHD3 is a 3.5-inch external hard drive enclosure designed to convert internal SATA hard drives (HDDs) or solid-state drives (SSDs) into portable external storage devices using a high-speed USB 3.0 interface.

Key Technical Specifications

• Drive Compatibility: Supports standard 3.5-inch SATA I / II / III hard drives and SSDs. It is also backwards compatible with 2.5-inch SATA drives.
• Maximum Capacity: Safely handles high-capacity storage disks, commonly supporting up to 10TB to 16TB depending on the production variant.
• Data Transfer Speed: Uses a USB 3.0 interface to achieve transfer speeds up to 5 Gbps (roughly 10 times faster than USB 2.0), making it ideal for quick file backups and large media transfers.
• Power Requirements: Because 3.5-inch desktop drives require more electricity than a standard USB port can provide, this enclosure requires an external 12V power adapter (which is typically included in the box)

Design & Usability Features

• Premium Build: Constructed with an aluminum alloy and ABS shell. The metal components help dissipate heat efficiently, protecting your drive from overheating during prolonged use.
• Plug and Play: Fully hot-swappable and drive-free. It automatically mounts on your operating system without needing any manual software installation.
• System OS Support: Compatible with almost all major operating platforms, including Windows (11/10/8/7/XP), macOS (8.6 or higher), and Linux.
• Visual Indicator: Features a built-in LED light to indicate power status and read/write activity. It also includes a dedicated On/Off power switch for safety and energy saving.
