Mac Model Number
eMac models
Type the number printed on the underside of your Mac — like A2338 — or its EMC number, order number, model identifier or serial. We'll tell you exactly which Mac it is.
Where to find the number
1
Under your MacBook
Turn it over. In the small print near the hinge you'll find Model A1466 and often EMC 2632.
2
In About This Mac
Apple menu → About This Mac shows the name and serial. System Information shows the model identifier, like MacBookPro11,3.
3
On the box or invoice
The order number is printed on the label, like ME088LL/A. The letters after the first five are the region.
